Has anyone tried these skis? I've been eyeing them for awhile now, but I thought I'd try a query before I lay out $550. They sound indestructable, just what I need.

The Åsnes website claims they are "unavailable" til next season, but Neptune Mountaineering has them in stock..............?

Remember, you don't telemark in the BWCA, or in Minnesota for that matte.r

Can't go wrong with Asnes. The Nansens have the same dimensions as the combat ski but are $100 cheaper and should be plenty durable-they've been across Greenland, the Arctic Circle, and Antarctica!

I have the Amundsens, also a very good ski but narrower than the combat ski and the Nansen.
