Thanks for sharing your report, I really enjoyed it. It really shows that the weather is part of the trip and when you accept that, the trip is fun! Hope you share many more adventures.

Nice report. I always enjoy your reports/videos. I did essentially the same route the week before, entering and exiting at Baker Lake. I’m glad you weren’t videoing/recording me on the Sitka-Cherokee portage :). A tough one for a little old out of shape guy. Sometimes you just have to persevere and enjoy the weather ;)

Thanks, none of us fell so that's always good. Sometimes I find myself rushing and I have to kick myself and realize what I'm up there for, to relax and enjoy.

landoftheskytintedwater: "Enjoyed the report! I probably just missed you Wednesday AM when I paddled through North Temperance. That was a bizarre weather day. "
Thanks, we left around 10 or so just as it started to rain. Also, we heard some moose (I think) in the morning.

Duckman: "What was your tent set up on Cherokee? Isn't that the site with the one dedicated tent pad?"
We had one man tents. There is probably only 1, maybe 2, spots for bigger tents at the Cherokee site. They did put in logs and level some ground for a bigger tent.
