How was the rest of your trip? Sounds like you are all real troopers. I know what you mean about cold, wet, and tired. At least no one will suffer from insomnia. Steak and Potatoes first night is a must. Good call trip leader

The rest of the trip was great! Good fishing, good campsites, beautiful country and no people. It doesn't get any better than that! Thanks for asking.

Nice report and I agree: there are no bad days in the BWCA! You have a great writing talent. It would be nice to read about the entire trip.

Amen. Positive Leader Attitudes (PLA) are a must when facing these conditions. Thanks for the report.

Response to Mark lawyer,
Your wish is granted, the entire trip report is posted on this web site. Scroll down the Trip Report list to "Trip Around the Horn - EP#14 to EP#16". This is a great route with a large variety of lakes, rivers, creeks, good fishing and nice solitude once you get passed Loon Lake.
