Here in Ely, the woods still looks like this, but the water is still frozen, unlike this photo which was early winter on White Iron.

This is at Forest Center Road, on the way to Isabella Lake.

Judy Espointour, who used to work for the Forest Service and now works for me, took it. Isn't the spider web cool?
