The freeze dried chicken is actually pretty good. I usually buy a #10 can and open it up and divide it up into 2 person servings and Vac seal them. We then add them to recipes in camp. It hydrates well and is super lt weight. I find it works better than dehydrated chicken.

Trail cooking For the Banks Fry Bake pan taking some oil along will not be a problem. Just use a good plastic bottle to store it in and place it in a good freezer ziplock bag with a couple of paper towels.
