last minute planning for a memorial weekend trip, thursday thru sunday. only been going the quetico as of last 10 years. if anyone has any trip ideas for 2 people who want to be as far from the fray as possible, please forward. thank you.

It may be too late to get a permit. I would start by calling your outfitter or the quetico park reservations to see if any permits are still available. Memorial weekend is popular and those permits first became available 5 months prior to the day you are entering-so I am not sure any remain.

Even BWCAW permits for that time frame are probably few and far between. Start your planning by seeing what permits are available before you get to far. Base your planning on where you can start from based on what permits may still be available.
