Hello,

This is my first time on this website, thanks for having me. I will be making a return trip to the BWCA this spring. I was curious if anyone has heard of possiblr fire bans for this year? With all the snow cover I don't see it being a problem.

Hard to say-Even with all of the snow-if there are no spring rains everything will change quickly. Just pay attention and ask a couple weeks before you go and plan as it there is a fire ban-then if there is or is not you will be set.

Where is your entry permit for?

If you are not in the storm damaged area, there is not much chance of having a fire restriction unless we are abnormally dry.

With the great snow we have gotten this winter, the water levels and moisture should be good this year! Cross your fingers it will stay that way!

So much rain, no fire ban in sight.
