So did you stay warm?

My zero degree sleeping bag as a top quilt was great...
Next weekend I'm going to try my Exped Downmat 7. If that fails me - I will be investing in the Hammock Gear Zero Degree UQ.

This Outdoor Vitals Quilt will be good for summer, but a bit
Cold for shoulder seasons. Definitely experienced CBS.

If your concerned about your fly not covering you enough, go from a square to a diamond design with your fly. I have a 12x12 fly & I try and use a diamond as much as possible. I gain almost 4ft of coverage going from a square to a diamond

I think a 0 degree underquilt might be overkill. I would consider a 20 degree instead. That works great in the shoulder seasons and in the summer.

And check out Hammock Gear's new Econ underquilts and top quilts!

I did!! Just bought a burrow 20, and an Incubator 20. Great prices on the Econ line. I will let you all know what I think of them when I get back from my April 20th trip.

Definitely looking at the Econ quilts.

I hear ya on the 20 degree... but one of my May trips dipped to 30 degrees... with my zero degree sleeping bag on my downmat 7 I was still a bit chilly... so yes... I understand how a 20 degree works for you... as for me... I WILL invest in that zero degree UQ.

But so excited tho they have the Econ version to save a few bucks on things that aren't that important to me.

Testing one last time with my pad, 40 degree UQ, and my zero sleeping bag... (seems like a lot to pack in...) If this fails even a bit I'm getting the zero Econ UQ.
