Entry Point 80 - Larch Creek

Larch Creek entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Gunflint Ranger Station near the city of Grand Marais, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 53 miles. Access from the canoe landing at Larch Creek. This area was affected by blowdown in 1999.

what a great trip, especially for the kids. that's a lot of wildlife in one trip! sounds like the fishing was good, too.

Great job dad! I think the boys are hooked. My older daughter is so excited about her 4th daddy/daughter trip coming up this year. Larch has been on my radar for an easy trip w/ each of the girls but late season low water definitely scares me away.

I think it's just fantastic that you can enjoy multigenerational trips like this with your family and some friends to boot. I trip with my Grandpa and will remember our times together forever. Keep paddling on. You're making the memories of a lifetime.
