Check out Indeed's Let it Ride in cans. Very good beer.

I love cans. (Insert breast innuendo). Far as I'm concerned, a can pours just the same as a bottle into my pint glass...

Very true. Cans are perhaps the best way to package beer. A lot of people think they are inferior to bottles because they "taste like metal". This is only true if you drink from the can itself. All cans are lined to preserve the beer and the metallic taste comes from the drinker putting his mouth on the can itself. Drink canned beer poured into a glass. Also canned beer is sheltered from light unlike bottles which can be tainted by light.

The only time that I drink my beer from a glass is in a pub, or if I bring a growler home...give me a bottle instead of a can anytime.

Cans are good -- Castle Danger is canning now, too -- but either way mine will almost always find its way into a proper glass. I enjoyed a Beer Camp in the back yard out of the bottle the other day but it wasn't the same. Not enough nose to fully enjoy the hops.

Sometimes the bottle has an iffy taste. Not sure why. Can only guess a little beer gets trapped at bottom of the bottle top and dries out. I usually wipe a bottle if I drink right out of it. Harder to drink out of a pint glass if mowing the lawn. :)

It is amazing what a difference a proper glass can make

I don't buy into the certain glass for a certain brew thing. that's just marketing bs, a great way to sell glassware.

Ahhh now we are getting into some beer snobbery. Love it!

Lesser made glassware can actually rob you of the coveted perfect head. That sought after ring of head around the glass after the initial pour settles. Proper surface tension anyone?

The bottom line is that cans are less costly than bottles.

Cans are cheaper to package in....cheaper to ship (light weight)....easier to recycle......and take up less space in my recycling bin.

That said, I drink 90% of my beer from a bottle because that's what we mainly use at work and I get my beer cheap.

Smell and taste go hand in hand. It won't improve a BMC beer IMHO, but definitely changes the taste (or perception of taste) of an IPA or APA.

Regarding the cans vs bottles issue, the blind taste test run by Sierra Nevada added some clarity for me.
The tasters used cups so that they could not feel what their eyes could not see. They were to say whether they thought a beer came from a can or a bottle and which they preferred. Each beer tested was from both cans and bottles.
My interpretation of the test results are as follows:
With Budweiser (and probably other thinly-flavored, mass produced beers), you'd likely be able to tell whether it came from a can or bottle and you'd prefer it from a bottle.
If you step up to Heineken or Sapporo, you would be more likely than not to tell that your beer came from a can. An what's more, you'd prefer it from a can.
With Sierra Nevada Torpedo, you'd be unlikely to name the source of your beer. However, you'd prefer it (68%) from a can.

My own experience seems to support the findings of the above test. HOWEVER, I did not wear a blindfold.

You know how it is harder to taste food when you have a cold? Well, it is harder to taste beer when you are drinking from a bottle because your nose is excluded from the tasting process, just as when you have a cold. Aroma is important in both the tasting of food and beer.

Ever see a wine aficionado drink from the bottle?

I agree. I started out with just shakers but later added a couple of more types of glassware. Snifters now get the most use at my house because of the types of beer I prefer.
