Here's mine, not necessarily in order.......

Lift Bridge - Hop Dish
Excelsior - Bridge Jumper
Bell's - Two Hearted
Third Street - Bitter Neighbor
Indeed - Midnight Ryder

OK, the last two are black IPA's / cascadian dark's, but I think they still count as IPA's

Agree on the Lift Bridge Hop Dish - the best locally made IPA available year round IMO. Surly Abrasive is also excellent but is a seasonal offering. Ballast Point Sculpin is very good also but pricey. Green Flash West Coast IPA is great too and a little more affordable. Finally, Pliny The Elder which is known as one of if not the best beer in America (depends on who you talk to) but unfortunately only available in California and in limited quantities there too.

Sierra Nevada Ranger is also really good (right Jan?) and almost makes the list and is the best reasonably priced ($7.99 six pk) around. In a head to head test with O Dells IPA amongst our beer club group it won decisively.

Like Hop Stupid (a lot) but my top 5 list is my go to ipas that I drink regularly. I sampled Pliney the Elder in Portland, OR a few years ago at the Oregon Brewers Festival (out of this world!), but I can't get it here (MN). I did not include double and imperial ipas as they are not in my regular rotation- they tend to make me hop stupid...

I'm enjoying some less hoppy brews this time of year...porters and stouts. Changing with the seasons.

After I make my list I'll probably change my mind....

New Belgium Rampant
New Belgium Ranger

Sierra Nevada Hoptimum
Sierra Nevada Torpedo
Lift Bridge Hop Dish

After Rampant and Ranger it's hard for me to keep it to five because there are others I like as much as the ones I listed. Plus I'm sure someone will list ones I forgot about and I'll want to add them to my list.

Bells Two Hearted
Sierra Nevada Celebration
Founders Centenial
Stone IPA

I like the price of Torpedo and Celebration
