This is a 4-star campsite with a 5-star view situated on the west side of Cherokee Lake. Fairly easy access from water, two level tent pads - one of them is set up with logs surrounding the tent site - unique. Tent sites were level and large enough to accommodate a 4 person tent. Roomy fire area with a grate that is sheltered by a large rock formation. Beautiful views from three sides - since this is a peninsula site that overlooks the lake as well as a back bay. Can see the sunrise and sun set from here. Would stay here again.
