mine has to be a tie between a few choices:
1. Has to be Crystal Light Rasberry Lemonade and Grey Goose
2. Crystal Light Sunrise (Orange Flavor) and Grey Goose
3. Any Cool aide and and either Capt Morgan or Grey Goose
4. Jack and Cool Aide

We bring Dc. McCi Cherry for something to pass around the fire.

Have you seen the mixers on Packit Gourmet? Yum!

The Moonshine Margarita was listed as one of the 'essentials' in Backpacker's gear guide.

I'll second the Cherry Doc. Mix it with a little ice cold lake water.

I cannot believe it. This thread has nine posts and so far nobody has mentioned EverClear.

If one reads prior threads on this topic, and there are many, EC soon becomes the overwhelming favorite. Best I can tell, "EC" is pure, unadulterated grain alcohol.

I hear there will soon be an AA chapter meeting on Basswood.

Me too. I seldom drink scotch at home, but it sure does go well with Boundary Waters sunsets.

Are there any restrictions on the amount a person can bring in? After reading all of the different mixtures I might need multiple flasks.

Jose was never an original wise man and the person who gave him that honor should be shot. Three wise men should be Jack, Jim, and Johnny

Hows about this- 3 nalgenes, 1 hooch, 2 hooch, 3 hooch.
Then figure it out from there!

Everclear is the way to go. It mixes well with Crystal Lite Cherry Pomegranate, help start wet fires, clean wounds and it's high proof means weight savings. It's like duct tape but better!

I usually bring a flask of blackberry brandy too.

I was going to bring Everclear last time (for the killer weight to effect ratio)...but decided on Crown Royal instead, for some reason, whiskey in the BW just seems right.
Good whiskey with a side of filtered BW lakewater = yummybuz!

Casco de la Cruz - the finest sherry I know of. A half-ounce sip satisfies, a whole ounce feels sinful.

Try a little tequila with fresh fish/shore lunch. Pack a lime and you won't believe how good the combo is. Salt is a given. I don't even like fish or tequila that much so should tell you something.

crystal lite and vodka

hot tea and vodka

hot cocoa and vodka

let the hot drinks cool a little before adding alcohol so said alcohol doesn't evaporate
