Good stuff Lynn, thanks for posting this current information.
For anyone considering a Quetico trip this year, it might be a good idea to copy & paste this info into a MS Word document for convenient, future reference. That way, you can also print off this information for distribution to other group members.

Great info. QPP has had a guide - like a legal size sheet folded in quarters - that ahs been available on line as a pdf. Seemed to be reprinted each year. It has all of the critical info including ranger station hours in one place, but I'll be %^&* if I can find it on line now.

Do the rates you show include taxes? I assume they tax? I am going with someone and I told him that it was $21 a night to camp in Quetico, so just wondering if I short changed myself. We are going to be in for 9 nights and I told him it would be $ 190. I will eat the $13 reservation fee as well.

RABC Information - received from their office yesterday. Make sure you note "good from date of issue", if you get it in January/February 2013 for a July trip, it is only good through January/February 2014.
CANPASS Remote Area Border Crossing (RABC) permits are valid for one year from the date of issue.

You must have a valid CANPASS RABC permit in your possession when you cross the border into Canada at an applicable remote location.
For further assistance with your inquiry, we recommend that you contact the CANPASS RABC program at 1-807-624-2162, or toll free at: 1-877-854-RABC/1-800 842-7647.
