Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for about a month and have enjoyed all the valuable information I have taken in. I will be taking my first trip to Quetico in September and will be staying around Carp Lake. Any tips for that particular place, also will be visiting Emerald and This Man, That Man, etc. Any tips or info will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I've done that route once - basically half the classic Hunter's Island route - and really like the Man chain. I would urge you to try to get up to Falls chain - not very hard and quite nice. I don't fish but saw others pulling fish out as fast as they could drop a line in. In September you might not see anyone else going through that area.

One of my goals is to repeat that trip but complete the entire Hunter's Island trip in and out of PP.
