Entering on June 23, headed to Kawnipi.
What payment methods are available for camping fees and fishing licenses?
I assume that in Cache Bay,cash is king! (Canadian funds required?)
Thanks in advance.
BTW- how's the bite up ther so far?

We paid with a debt card at Lac Lacroix, I would think it's the same at all Ranger Stations, solves the currency exchange problems.

Janice at Cache Bay will take Canadian or US dollars. She also takes a credit card. Entirely up to you.

Two years ago we paid the camping fee with cards, already had the fishing license from calling in ahead of time. I don't remember it taking a long time. Have you heard how the fishing has been lately in Quetico? I leave on Saturday, I hope the mayfly hatch doesn't mess up the fishing too bad.

Speaking of Cache Bay, does anybody know of any good camping spots in the bay? I know there is one on the island, but any other good spots out there that somebody is willing to share. Just camped on the island site a couple weeks ago on the last night of an incredible trip....it was alright, but for future reference I would love to know if anybody knows of any good spots out there. Thanks!
