So I was worried that I was pushing it when I sent in my RABC form that it was too late. I sent it priority 3-5 day mail and got it back 8 days after I sent it in. Not saying to wait till the last minute, but it can be done pretty fast.

Last year mine came back in 6 days - and it was just first class mail and months ahead of entry. Those guys are good.

yeah, last year I misplaced mine after getting it several months in advance. Luckily, I realized I misplaced it in time to get another one.

Don't count on such fast turn arounds though. Last year, mine came the day I left for my trip. (I had already called and gotten it faxed though.)

I forget what the processing time was--it was something like 2 to 3 weeks, and it took exactly 3 weeks.

Oh I didn't cut it that close, I had just under 4 weeks till my trip. I thought I was really cutting it close with less than four weeks, and thats why I prioritied it. Kinda wanted to hear what other peoples times were, and kinda wanted to let anyone else who might be worried how long mine took.

It's taking a chance to wait till the last 4 weeks, some times bureaucracy comes into play and the people in Toronto get busy with something else. You don't want to wait too long to get a passport either.

My experience is that they do in fact turn it around fast -- but they don't have to, so it's best to send your application in well ahead of time.
