I've read alot about the falls that are in the bdub. I just haven't been able to find all the correct entry points. Can anybody help me out? Scrolling with the maps on this site doesn't give me all the info I am looking for.
Eddy Falls? Chatterton Falls? Silver Falls? Curtain Falls? Mueller Falls? Elm portage? Winchell Lake? Mug Falls?

Any info on which entry points & possibly the direction to paddle that would get to any of these would be great!

Saw the Cattyman Falls last year & they were awesome!

Johnson Falls (62,64,68) & Rose Falls (60)are already booked the times we are planning on going. Will for sure reserve the Johnson Falls entry points well in advance next time.

Eddy and Mueller are fairly close....can be combined in a trip. We entered at Seagull and went to Ogish....up to South Arm past Eddy Falls. Backtracked the next day to Ogish and south to Mueller Falls.

Thanks for the info! I happen to accidentally find Winchell Lake Falls & I also found another set of falls on the east side of Brule. I think since there is permits available for Brule the weekend we want to go, I think we will be able to see both sets of falls in one trek. If the stars aline just right this summer, we will be making another trip this fall.

Certainly (if you're ambitious enough?) you could get to most waterfalls from any EP. This is by no means an all encompassing list, but, tries to name the most convenient EP's and should give you a good start.

Mueller falls...

Eddy falls....

and the rapids along the portage between Alpine & Jasper lakes can all be accessed from SEA GULL LAKE EP #54.

Johnson falls can most directly (no portaging) from PINE LAKE EP 68. But, you could also come at it from EAST BEARSKIN LAKE EP #64 or CLEARWATER LAKE EP #62.

Winchell lake waterfall could be accessed from LIZZ LAKE EP #47, MORGAN LAKE EP #45 & BRULE LAKE EP #41.

Cattyman falls can be accessed from SNOWBANK LAKE EP #27.

Stairway falls can be accessed from DUNCAN LAKE EP #60

Mug falls can be accessed from SAWBILL LAKE EP #38

Waterfall between Vernon lake & Brule bay can be accessed from BRULE LAKE EP #41.

The water slide can be accessed from MOOSE RIVER NORTH EP # 16.

Cascades from bridge along the BRT can be accessed from CLEARWATER LAKE EP #62.

Elm portage can be accessed from the LITTLE INDIAN SIOUX RIVER NORTH EP #14.

The falls along the Basswood river can be accessed from FALL LAKE EP #24 or MUDRO LAKE EP #23.

Sioux falls can be accessed from the LITTLE INDIAN SIOUX RIVER SOUTH EP#9.

Where is Winchell Lake Falls? I assume this is big Winchell, north of Brule, and I've been on it from end to end a number of times, and can't think of a waterfall.

I marked it in the maps section.
