Just wondering if anybody has stayed in the area south of the #34 entry point (Island River). I know it is open to 10 hp motors, but I'm wondering if there's much boat/motor traffic.

I haven’t been there, but I honestly doubt there will be much motor traffic since there are so many other places to go in the area without restrictions. I’ve spent a lot of time in that general vicinity and rarely see a lot of boats on any particular lake.

I have gone in the Island River entry and paddled a short distance to the south. I did not see any motors in that general area and can't imagine anyone using one there. It's just not really that big or deep and there are enough rocks to worry about.

When you went south there are two campsites way south of the entry point. Did you go them or does anybody know how they are??

No, I just paddled 1/2 mile at the most.
