Wanted to get some pictures from atop Warrior Hill. My understanding is that we would need an RABC permit for this. Is this actually the case? We probably wouldn't venture into Canada for anything else other than this.

Have to unfortunately agree with everyone else as well. I think there was a time it was not big deal. There was a post about 4 years ago about someone on this site who was fined for climbing Warrior Hill wihtout a Quetico Day pass--even though their outfitter said it was okay. If Canadian customs would have caught them it could have been worse (they did not have an RABC either).
You can view it from the water though---just stash your fishing poles.

It's unfortunate that you have to have an RABC and a day use permit these days. I think I've been up there at least a half dozen times and never thought twice. The view is spectacular and it's shame very few get to enjoy it these days.

It is a requirement.
It is truethat back in the early 2000's and before the rangers and officials looked the other way and most everyone climber Warrior Hill and investigated Rebecca Falls. One really should have had the proper documnets but no one seemed to take the time to check.
I have heard of people being fined for doing it now. Propbably another result of the world we live in since 9/11.

Unfortunately, as the others have said you should get your paperwork inline. I will say though, the best blueberry patch that I've had the good fortune of getting into, was on the north side of Knife Lake. My buddy and I picked 4 gallons, almost without moving. Well, that might be a bit of a stretch, but it was pretty darn good. There's just something about smuggling illegal blueberries back across the border that makes them taste oh so much better.
