I am taking off in less than a month now and headding into the BW via EP 51 and going to Tuscacora, Lil Sag, Gabi, (et al) and was searching around for interesting things to see out there in the wilds. I have seen mention of an old cabin on Lil Sag and some other things around the area (thanks for trip reports) and was wondering...
Are there any places that have old buildings or places where my group and I should stop and explore a bit on land? Are you willing to let me know (and this board) where they are? If so, I would like to check out some of these things. Hook me up! ^_^ Thanks.

there are some old grow white pines on the island at south end of lil sag. some taller bigger trees. if that floats your boat, some of that area was burned a couple of years back. north side of lil sag looked pretty charred when I went that way two springs ago. tom

Hey Tom:
I am looking for anything and everything that would be cool to explore and take photographs of, so... yes! a sweet grove of trees is something that I will check out. Thanks for the tip.

I haven't been there in years but in tusc, there is a little island about 50' long at most. There are two very old cedar trees on each end that have survived for years if not centuries. It is my specaial place in the north and one day I hope to provide some nourishment to the trees.
