I herd their was a bever dam washout between winchel and brule i was wondering if its still passible.

it's passible as long as you like mud. It's almost quicker (and less painful) to go west on Cliff and down thru the Cones into Brule.

Check with a local outfitter or the ranger's office.

A few years back, there was a beaver dam washout on the Louse River, but the busy little beavers repaired it and the route was passable again.
