I'm planning on starting my 19 hour drive home as soon as I take out and wasn't planning stopping for a hotel. Is there any place I can pay for a shower before I start my drive home?

If you are in Ely Voyaguer North has good showers.
I think it's 5 bucks if you need a towel, might be cheaper if you have your own.

Most outfitters have that service.

Sweet! Thanks a lot. I'm not much fun in a small car for 19 hours when I smell good. I'm deadly when I stink like a swamp goat.

Sawbill will also offer the shower for I think $4. If you're near Grand Marais go the the city campground. They have a pool w/ a shower and stuff for around $3. They also have the hottub and it is great to sit in for a while

If you don't mind being thrifty (cheap), sneak into a state park on the way back for a shower. Temperance River State Park is an especially nice one if you are going in the gunflint side since the shower is very close to the freeway.
