I have a 10 day itinerary to plan in august an was hoping to put in on trout lake and take the vermillion river through to crane lake wrap around to loon lake and try and take out at one of the little suoix indian river spots. Can this be done or do these rivers flow in the opposite direction?
Any pointers or sugestions would be much appreciated!
Also last year I was caught in the middle of 2 large fires in the seagull area and noticed that the area around there was heavily affected by blowdowns. Is the vermillion river area affected by blowdowns as well and if so could someone suggest an area that is not. This is my 6th trip to bwca and last year was the only year that I felt overcrowded, smoked out, and blown over. (i recomend staying away from the seagull area)
