What is the distance from Ely to Mudro entry point 23? I tried looking on google maps but couldn't really tell where there were roads, etc. I'm just wondering how long it takes to drive there from Ely. This year our group is probably going to have to bring a car up and I just don't think we are going to be able to fit two canoes on the car. I'm trying to weigh the logistics/time of hauling one canoe to the entry point and then going back to Ely to get the other canoe versus shelling out $50 one way for a shuttle. Thanks.

Figure about 30-35 minutes.

It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the turn off on Echo Trail and then another 10 minutes on the Forest service road to the EP parking lot where Chain Saw Sisters used to be.

It is not too bad a drive-although the forest service road is a little narrow and washboarded in places.

About 18-20 miles total from Ely to the old Chain Saw Sister's parking lot.
