Hi guys,
I have never been to EP#32 before and I'm not sure where to pick up my permit and rent canoes. Is Ely the closest place to EP#32? It's 21 miles from my EP, Or is Tofte a better option? Can anyone recommend a outfitter in either Ely or Tofte.

What name goes with #32? I don't have them all memorized!!! and of course there are the Quetico numbers too!!

That's the south Kawishiwi River and you could go either way on picking up the permit but Ely has more outfitters to choose from.
You can also pick up your permit at the outfitter. That EP has only two entry per day so don't wait to long. I just checked it and it is filling.

Ely has a lot of Outfitters
Doug Jordan's,Voyager North, Wilderness are three proven good Outfitters and there are more....Do you need complete outfitting or just a canoe? Need transportation?, a tow? If you want them to get a permit they can do that too.
