I was at the Bloomington REI last week looking at their BWCA maps and their selection of WA Fisher maps was limited. About a third of the 32 F series maps were in stock, maybe less.
I order direct from WA Fisher off their web site. Easy to use and fast service. The shipping charges aren’t exorbitant.

TomP: "I'll be in the Twin Cities for business this week. Where can I buy Fisher maps of the BWCA?"
I would check out Midwest Mountaineering (at 35W and Washington Ave between downtown and U of M campus). They have Fisher and Voyageur, I used to use Fisher and Makenzie, but now I have only purchased Voyageur lately because I’ve grown to prefer them. You can compare them side by side at MM.
Enjoy the store too, all kinds of canoe camping gear!

+1 to this! I'd also suggest that you go upstairs to Thrift Outfitters. Great discounts and some used gear up there too!
