So I bought a blue barrel from the laundromat (CHEAP) thinking it would fit inside my military duffel that we currently use as a food pack. It turns out it will not fit. Because the barrel was not bought from a gear outfitter I am not sure on its size. I think it is a 60 liter but not sure. I want to tryout a barrel harness and see if I like it better than the duffel but don't want to buy it and have it not fit.

Can anybody send me the measurements of their 60 liter barrels.

On a side note I may have two 60 liter barrels for sale.

I just went out and measured mine and it's the same. I have mine in a CCS 60L barrel pack.

What was in the laundromat barrel originally?

I'm just curious.
If you may have two 60 liter barrels for sale why can't you measure them for comparison?

He is hoping that they are 60L barrels as he is not sure what size, in liters they are. Otherwise he may be going to sell them if they are 30L barrels

Those are most likely 60 L.

My 30 liter barrels are 20 1/2 inches tall with the lid on and the opening ID is 9 3/4 inches. So if they are larger than that they are probably a 60 L

Didn't give the weight in the Harmony barrel specs. I'm curious what the barrel weighs?

Sorry I got really busy at school. These barrels are 25-1/4" tall and just about 50" around widest part. Looks like 60 liters. The weight is 7 pounds 5 oz. as I said these were at my local laundromat, they contained detergent powder. They have been sitting around for a long while. Not sure if I will use them or not but I think I could get a few more for those that sent me messages. I will check and get back to you all.

I get to the twin cities fairly often.
