Last weekend I finally got to use the 10 degree, sub-2 lb Zpacks sleeping bag I picked up over the winter. I know there are a number of lightweight options out there, but there are not that many for big guys. I did a review of it. I'm pretty happy with it so far and recommend it for anyone looking for a fully enclosed lightweight alternative to quilts.

My 20 degree Zpacks bag comes today. Good to know you like it. I bought a silk liner at REI too. I plan to use the bag all season. A friend of mine at work loves all things Zpacks. Great customer service and free 2 day shipping for orders over $100. I cannot wait to try out my bag Memorial Day weekend.

Yeah I'd say Zpacks is to through hikers as CCS is to canoe country enthusiasts! Pretty elite quazi-custom gear. Awesome stuff for sure.
