Ive had an original gsi insulated mug for years and like it but I saw this one at GM today, way too cool not to spend 10 bucks on and, it still fits inside my soloist pot like the old one did. I really like the web handle and the sip-it lid...big improvements.

gsi infinity

I have a couple of those GSI mugs and like them a lot. Very light weight, nice bigish size, and some amount of insulation. The only minor drawback is that the neoprene insulating wrap hits my lip a bit when I drink. No big deal, but I suspect it will eventually show wear or discoloration. Still, I would buy it again.

my original shows no wear or discoloration on the insulation after 4 years of drool.

I am using the Yeti mug at work these days. Probably the best coffee mug I have ever used. Yeti Mug

Just ordered a Yeti Hopper from Cabela's for the wife for Christmas and they're throwing one of these in at no additional charge. Looking forward to it.

I picked thisup for camping. Double walled for Insulation and the folding handle keeps it compact.

Jan - I have two of them and we like them. Lightweight, flex handle, and they keep coffee warm enough.

UphillHarry - I agree with the touching your lip part. I may trim them a bit with a scissors.

The GSI Infinity does look nice, but I'm still using several of the free give-away insulated mugs :). They work quite well too.

Nice lookin' mug! Should work fine.
Been using a Personal Java Press for some time,, doubling use as a insulated "boil a meal" container.

Pretty sure every insulated mug I have brought canoeing was a free trade show tchotchke. Got one from the photography company doing school pictures one year that has been on 15-20 trips.

That is pretty slick. We use one of their cook sets, the Pinnacle Dualist, and swear by it.
I'll have to track down a couple of those myself.

I bought 3 of those for the boys to use as I have a titanium double wall but I find myself borrowing one of the GSI's when I solo because it nests so well inside my IMUSA food mug. I drink my coffee out of it in the am and tea and red wine out of it in the pm. Great size and light weight.

I also have the original. If the neoprene insulater touches you lip, just slide it down a bit. Also, to clean I remove the liner and lid from the cup, and clean them in the dishwasher. All parts come out clean and ready to go.
