It really depends on the type of seat you have.

If it's the cane or webbed stationary seat, your options are limited I think because the stationary seat is not in the center at the balance point. You could try one of these:

Spring Creek Canoe Seat

or one of these:

Clamp-On Yoke

If your canoe was ordered with the Wenonah sliding bucket seat, then the seat might slide forward enough to the center balancing point to be able to use one of these:

Wenonah solo yoke

Good luck.

Spring Creek Clamp on is what I was looking to buy, until I decided to build one myself. Portage Yoke This seems like it would be easy to use on the Wilderness. I have already built a seat back for it, and may try to combine the seatback and the portage yoke...

I just built one for my wenonah advantage.

The big thing to get the fit right was making sure the wood inside the gunwales is a snug fit. I have also replaced the bolts and nuts with stainless, and coated it with several coats of spray urethane. It takes about 30 seconds to put on, and it floats if you flip.

I had the pedestal seat in my encounter. Chuck at Spring Creek removed it and made a seat that has a nice backrest and clamps in or out to double as a camp chair. Today he is making a yoke that is integrated with the seat. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

I used the wenonah solo yoke (second one that clamps on to the seat) that LMB linked when I had a Wilderness. It was light, easy to put on and take off and really comfortable.
