Bill Ostrum has a new pack out to power up your electronics. You just need to walk. So now you just need to do those long portage routes. Gokin pack

Good green tech and nice to see people thinking outside of the box when developing these things. I can't see how this is practical yet though. Not just in the bdub but anywhere. Anyone that hasn't charged their phone in my experience / observations just doesn't make it a priority in general, given that we're surrounded by outlets all day. I doubt that this would be any advantage to anyone. If it's meant for the trail, then I could be wrong for it's usefulness as long as it can hold up to the stresses of those environment(s).

I love techie stuff! Computer programmer and all, but I just don't see this being a huge seller.
