My wife gave me a pair of Bushnell Imageview Binoculars which are binoculars with a digital camera for taking long distance photos. Just wondering if anyone has used this and the results you got with them ? They seem light and compact enough to take to the BW for photographing wildlife which is far away. Appreciate any help. Cool gift!! My guess is that, as with any telephoto-type photography, you'd be best to use a tripod when taking pictures. Bushnell.com lists the Imageview as being tripod adaptable.

Here is a link to a Bushnell adaptor:

I've ordered from this company before and they are top notch.

I think you're going to be quite disappointed with the results. The issue is that the camera doesn't have a lens of its own and that the picture is the image which the bino has captured.
It's like "digital zoom" on a camera.

Try it out but make sure she has the gift receipt.
