I got the Shangri-La 5 Tent for my birthday this year and wanted to give a review. It's total weight is about 6 pounds and it can hold a family of 5 (kids under 5 feet tall) easily. The part that surprised me the most beside the weight is how well it held up in a severe storm. With winds were 60-70 mph and yet that tent did not budge. The pole in the middle is solid and the stakes held firm. We had about 6+ inches of rain and we stayed completely dry even when the rain was blowing sideways. Let me know if you have any more question

The rain wasn't blowing sideways, you set your tent up sideways.
