I did buy a pair at there sale this fall because they were super cheap. The issue I am having with them is they do not stretch out at all so pretty much the size you buy is the size they are. They did not say anything about that point when I bought them. I wore them for 9 days deer hunting and my feet were dry as a bone but cold (to tight). I bought them in the same size that I bought my Arctic's witch stretched out perfect. If I was to buy another pair I would buy them a size up and a size wider. Otherwise a great boot!

I stood around at the Rosedale kiosk in these for a while before ultimately buying the Arctics. They should do very well with wet conditions as you suspect. However, I was able to notice in that amount of time the difference in breathability - they obviously don't do that the same way as the regular ones. As such, when it's NOT wet out you'd be worrying about getting wet from the inside with sweaty feet. I also wasn't as much of a fan of having a buckle on the ankle, since that's where snowshoe and ski bindings will go - not sure if that's actually a problem or not.
For me that meant get the Arctic now, and consider the Camuk down the road as a possible second pair, for when the weather demands. We'll see how well the snow proof spray works on the Arctics for those conditions until then.

I have these and love them. Not really a big fan of the camluks. How long is it supposed to take for these things to stretch out? I have had mine for three years now and they are still tight on my feet. I also should have bought the next size up but those I recall felt really loose. I don't wear them a lot though. Maybe a couple times or so a month in the winter.
I do like those Arctic's as well. If I buy another pair, those are what I would like to get.

That is correct, it allows one's feet to move and create heat and stay warm....but mine haven't stretched much if any. Super tough moose hide?

Stretching your Muks. there is a few things that you can try. #1 being take the liners out and fill the bottom of the boot with water let it sit till the water has saturated the leather. then dump it out. then put the dry liners back in and wear around them till they are dry. wet leather stretches pretty easy but will shrink again if you just let it sit when drying. with movement wile drying the leather will not shrink back it will just dry in its stretched shape. #2 use shoe stretchers of some sort. If your boot is to small on the top take the liners out and shove a nalgene bottle down in it. if they are to short regular shoe stretchers will work ok though they are typically not the right shape for boots so you may have to add something to the toe area. Another option is take them to a shoe shop and get them stretched. On a side note, it seems the leather color may make a difference in its ability to stretch. I have no idea why. but a buddy of mine had a far harder time stretching his Youkons than I did my Arctic's. I compared the leather and (I am not sure!) but the black leather seemed thicker. So it would reason that it would be harder to stretch.

I wore mine for the first time for a 4 night, 5 day basecamp trip just after Christmas. They worked well. Heading to camp we pulled through a swamp and crossed a creek and punched through the ice. I was in water above the ankles for a few yards. That would have been a problem in my arctics but not in the Camuks. Functionally they are similar to a pac boot in that they don't breathe and you may need to swap out the liners after extended wear. I switched to a second pair of liners the third day. Not sure if it was necessary but I had an extra pair so...Unlike pac boots they are light and flexible.
As far as stretch I imagine because of the waterproof coating the leather itself will not stretch much. The wool liners and insoles will compress however. As I wore mine they loosened up a bit and I added a second pair of insoles.
Oh and of course, my feet were never cold.
