Was down by my REI today and dropped in to see what useful things useless people have returned. Picked up a Goal0 Nomad 7 Solar Charger with the battery pack for $40. The two together can sometimes be found on sale for $110-$120. It has a small mark on one of the solar panels that's not a scratch. Looks like wax or something. On Monday I'm leaving for a five week trip in the BW and Q. I was going ration my reading of my kindle to milk it through the five weeks. Now I can read all I want, even using my kindle light at night.

I would like to hear how that unit works out for you. I'm looking at one for my ultra light camper.
