Bought my LL3 a month or so ago at rei. Spent two nights in it so far. Love it! It is a really good tent and a good value when including the ground cloth. Lots of room to sit up in and lay down and stretch out. I haven't put it to use on the trail or the portage yet so I don't have much else to say yet. I'm still trying to get over the fact that I paid the full $279. Oh, I did also get the 20% off coupon so that saved some money. Can I return it and buy it again? Nah, I wouldn't do that.

Uhh, you *could* as they have a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. Would be a bit sheisty, but that's up to you :)

Got Limelight 3 last fall.
So far 10 days on the Green, 20 in the Everglades and five in Algonquin and seven on Florida Rivers.
I pitched it badly once groundcloth wrong side up and got a wet floor. Operator error once out of 42 outings.
I also managed to lose the brow pole and discovered the loss before the Algonquin trip and Marmot replaced it for twenty bucks including shipping and delivered it within three days.
I dont find it small for two. You can take gear inside but with the roomy vestibules its not necessary. We do not need to roll over in unison.

Of the handful of times I set up the Limelight, I don't recall paying any particular attention to the way I placed the groundcloth. Good thing we had good weather.

Seriously, which side is up??? Don't want to choose the wrong side with a down bag.

I didn't see what that there was a difference. But we were in a wet patch of moss after a month of rain and he said I pitched it plasticky side up..
Me thinks that with the gully washer the water went inbetween the tent and floor. It was on a hill. Everything about that camp was on a hill except for the campfire.
The innies will gloat!
