Does anyone have experience with the Chota wading sock. And, does it work with any boot?
I am headed in late May or early June and thought that my keep my feet warm and dry.

I have an unused pair. They are a little uncomfortable imo, which is why they are unused. They should be worn in a boot that is a size larger, or at a minimum, take the insoles out. I can check the size, and if you're interested, I'd let them go at half of retail.

Joel, if you wouldn't mind checking, I may be interested. Thanks

i use trekkers and their old brookies wading socks. i bought the trekkers one size bigger just so they would fit comfortably with the brookies.

i bought a pair of the wading socks youre asking about....they didnt work, too tight in the trekkers. the wading socks are shaped like a boot where the brookies were more like an envelope...less neoprene.

I checked and they are listed as a size 8. I usually wear an 8.5 and they fit fine. Note that these are the older style that are neoprene to the top (all black), with a skin gasket at the top so if you step too deep, the water still won't come in.
I'd want $30 plus actual shipping.

I wear size 11 shoes and get the Large size Chotas.

I have the Chota Hippies (new this year and unused) and the knee high version. I think they are great. I wear them with OTB Odhin boots and they fit fine, but I bought the boots to fit the Chota products.

I agree that you will need shoes one size larger than normal to accommodate the bulk of the neoprene. Removing the insole can work but I think it would be less comfortable.

You can by thin, even 1 mm neoprene socks if you just want to keep your feet warm and those should fit your regular boot.

I have the Chota wading sock and use them with the Trekkers. I had to go to a size bigger Trekker because the regular size was a hair tight. So my wading socks fit great.

My wife and I both have the Chota wading socks. I use them with the Chota Caney Fork boots and she uses the Cabela's Ultralight 2 Lug wading boots. We both are happy and it is sure nice to have dry feet.

Probably too small for me, but thank you for the offer.

I wear a size 13 and my son is a 12. We have two pair of the XXL wading socks, mine fit fine but my son has trouble with his. The trouble he has is getting them to cinch tight enough to keep water out. Guess I should have gotten him a size smaller, but he has some big legs. I do have very large calf from about ten years working on a garbage truck in my younger years. I love mine. I bought a pair of the Trekkers when Piragis had the 20% off sale the week after Christmas so will be pairing them up this spring.
