For me dry sacks are seeming a thing of the past. Zip Lock is now making giant bags and they are ever so wonderful I love them and the cost is far cheaper than a good dry sack. Anyone else converted yet?

Have used one of the large ziplock bags for a few years. Still air tight!

I use the giant Ziplocs. I just bought some new ones for my upcoming trip. They will sometimes come unzipped, so I don't trust them for my sleeping bag. It goes in a regular dry bag.

Where do you but the Zip Loc bags from?

Menards, sometimes walmart, meijer. I suppose you might find them at Lowes. You sometimes have to look around a bit to find out who stocks them.

I also like the one and two gallon sizes for different things.

I used them last year on my trip. They fit in the packs very well, and you can roll out the air. They lasted the entire week without breaking. I am going to pick up some more from Target this week.

I use one for my clean clothes bag. It is easy to squoosh stuff down if you leave one end open, and roll it up from the bottom. Instant stuff sack!
