I just posted this on another thread. For car camping only, not for canoe camping.
After allot of research on large tents,I purchased this tent in early spring from Campmor. My wife wanted something large enough to set up the pack & play for our 9 mth. old and room for our 4yr. old to play on rainy days.
It's the Eureka! Copper Canyon 1512
we have used it 6 times this year. Our first trip was 6 days and it rained for the 1st. 5 days with many heavy down pours and not one drip inside. The awning was nice for taking off shoes etc. On one of our trips it was very hot and humid and has comfortable to escape from the sun with all the windows open it was like one big screen tent.
It has stood up to my expectations and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Maybe too small, but maybe a good compromise. Big Agnes Buffalo Pass 4, if they still make it or there are leftovers around. Another is Aps Mountaineering Osage 6 (one door) or Meramac 6 (two doors) just 6' high though, I think. Bigger? ... Cabelas has a few choices too. I like their 'bargain cave' at times.

As posted on another thread ...
I have a lightly-used Kelty Green River 4 that I could part with for a song (plus some cash). It's 9x9 with a 9x5 screened vestibule, plus it's a full 6 feet high in the center.
Easy to put together with 2 people.
Let me know if you're interested.
