As a counterpoint to the "top five" thread, what are the five gear items you most take for granted? I.e., they're important but you don't think much about them when in use; you don't say, "I sure am glad I have it along." They're just "givens." I'll go first.

Interesting question because everything I take has importance and thought taken before being included in the list. But once out there, I don't think a lot about...
