With all the chat about gear people have that they are wanting to trade up to ,over to, etc.. has BWCA.com considered adding a used gear board for members to post "For Sales"? I have seen this on other boards. Thanks for your thoughts.

I have spent far too much money on gear this past year, so I wouldn't be buying anything. I do like the idea though.

Sounds like a real good idea to me too.

I think its a great idea. I emailed the moderators about the idea. I'm always upgrading my gear and have old stuff laying around. I try to offer it to friends and family first, but I'm sure everyone wouldn't mind finding a good deal on something they need or have never tried using.

I would be interested in such a board as well. I hope the moderators adopt this idea.

Wow, great idea. I collect equipment like some women collect china cups. My friends call me "gadget queen". This would be a great way to trade up and/or down size my collection.

If anyones interested I have a duluth pack on Ebay. It's a Paul Bunyan model-a heavy duty pack- probably only seen 6 trips.

HEY why start BWCA-bay! Instead of "Shipping" something you could have it "Canoed." Instead of a "handling fee" you would charge a "portage fee." When you "listed an item" you be "setting up camp."

Packing would be the same.

I'd receptive to the idea. What a great way to move unused items and to buy other things you may "need".

I would like to see something like this. Maybe a "Classified" section? How about it Adam? Maybe you can charge a small fee if an item sells or a listing fee to help recoup costs of setting it up and administering it.
