I just picked up two Carlisle Goldenlight paddles from Gander Mountain. Has anyone used these or any of the aluminum paddles with the plasic blade? I held a wood paddle and this one and couldn't tell a difference in weight. Seems like it would hold up better than a wood paddle. This particular one has a foam grim that should be comfortable. I'll use them today on the lake today and post back but any view points would be appreciated.
