I bought my BW pants with a 32 inseam with intention to hem to my desires. Actually my wife did the hem, while I nodded in approval.

In the hem, I had my seamstress sew in small button holes for a draw string. This was done just like the military style BDU's (designed to blouse).

I like to blouse my pants above my boots. I wear 8" Danner Pronghorns. Blousing keeps the pant leg out of the mud (sometimes). I also think that the ticks have a more difficult time heading north toward the crotch area

good idea--and of course begs the question,what mods do you make to off the shelf canoe clothing..i have the vecro removed from shirt pockets and replaced with large buttons and zippers put on the pockets of polyfluff hoodies..
