Paddlers,
My Boy Scout troop is going in to the BWCA next summer and we need to buy several maps for the multiple groups.
Does any Twin City, MN area retailers offer discounts for scout groups?
Mail order places that may offer discounts?
Any suggestions to help save scout leaders and scout parents a few dollars is appreciated.

Come On - your BoyScouts for pete's sake - wing it!
Seriously - have you asked any of the map providers if they do? Maybe that is all it would take to get a discount. I thought there was a certain outfitter that catered to scout groups too.

In the Twin Cities try Latitudes Map & Travel Store in St. Louis Park. I'm not sure they have discounts, but they seem to have everything including Fisher, Mckenzie, and Voyageur.

I was going through maps at Gander Mountain and they told me they will give a 10% discount on camping gear. The customer service clerk thought maps qualify as camping gear so the discount may help to get a map in every canoe or scouts hand.
They had McKenzie and Fishers for $5.99 with a "special fishers" at $7.29. Is that about the going rate for maps?
I'll check out that St. Louis Park store since I have never seen a Voyager brand map. Thanks.
