Piers and Crystal have good trout. Alder has two good camp sites that are near the canoe lake portage. We hammered the small mouth and the wal-eye last year the first week of September on Alder.

Trout and splake will still be deep. You might try spoons and jigs with 3"-4" curly tails or 4" gulp minnows. Fish them vertically in deep water. Anything in crawfish pattern should be good for bass. Walleye should be most active in low light periods or at night.

Have a good trip Darin.
