Going in Tue to crocodile lake is it still cold enough where I want minnows instead of leeches?

It's May with a late ice out so Minnows if ya want to bother hauling them. Croc is small, shallow and dark so it may be warmer then most but, the lows are still in the 50's at night so the 65F water temps will take a bit.

Head to the far east end, fish a couple hundred yards west of the far east campsite. You will catch Walleye.

Beautiful lake, and if I was going at this time my choice would be minnows, I would even go with crappie minnows and fatheads.
