Heading up to Ely next weekend for a last trip with the kids before school starts, what are the chances of finding leeches? and are they the best bait for walleyes this time of year?

We're still selling leeches by the pound, but do not know how long they will last.
It's day by day, we'll know tomorrow morning if we will be able to get any more next week.
