Anybody been there lately? How was fishing?

I will spend a night there next week. I plan on spending the day fishing for walleyes so I will let you know how it goes. Got any spots to try first? I was thinking that I would start where the 2 creeks dump in and on some of the saddles between the islands.

Not recently - I went last August and the fishing was poor (we tried pretty hard). I've done well in the past but the last couple times have been mediocre.

Maybe it had something to do with being August?? Were you fishing with live bait or trolling?

Both - minnows and leeches - and casting/trolling raps (like I said, we tried pretty hard). I had one August trip that we did quite well on.
