I have (had) two and sold one on this site for $125 including shipping last year. Looks like the one on CL includes a ice transducer as well. They are really light weight and last nearly a week on a set of batteries. I haven't found anything I like better for remote carry-in type fishing.

I have heard a lot about these and everyone seems to like them. I have not seen one for sale anywhere. Is $195 a fair price? I have no clue what they go for?
"
They do not make them anymore, and I think it's becoming more rare to see them for sale. I sold one a couple of years ago on CL for $240, so I think the price is okay. Call the guy/gal and offer $150; you've got nothing to lose, and you WILL love the unit!

I agree.
I don't have a Vexilar. I have the Lowrance X67 Ice Machine. It is a similar setup.
It's a small setup and self contained like the Vex. It can show the colored circle thingy that folks associate with the Vex. But it will also show normal depth charts like the recorder in your boat.
I LOVE it for the BW.
- The battery lasts all week.
- The ice transducer shoots right through the bottom of my SR canoe.
- Most importantly, it has helped me catch a lot of fish (i've found submerged island that were VERY hot, I've seen trout at 65 feet rise to catch my taildancer at 15 feet, I've located certain depth lines that the fish preferred,...)

the lowrance is a nice unit, much more modern than the vex and much higher resolution. the advantage of the Vexilar is it's small size. The entire vexilar boundary waters including the battery box would just about fit inside the head unit of the lowrance. 5.9"H x 6.4"W x 2.5"D and weighs about 2 pounds with a full set of batteries.

Here's another tip:
Try www.allofcraigs.com
It lets you search all the craigslists over the country. I did a quick check and it seems like there are several Vexs available out there.
I've had good luck just working out shipping with remote sellers.

With the BW LC - 10 vexilar can you see your bait in the water column relative to where you would mark fish on the screen? I would have to say this is my favorite part of using the flashers. I called the guy and he is selling it for a friend. Ill make him an offer this weekend when he is available.

There may be several Vexilars, but only one BWCA LC-10!
